Retreats and Pilgrimages

A retreat is simply a drawing away from things in order to spend time with God.  It is a quiet time of prayer and reflection when all our senses are open and ready to listen to Him.  In July we go on retreat to Launde Abbey in order to spend time away from our normal lives and to reconnect with God.  We come away refreshed and renewed, with new perspectives and open to the new possibilities God has revealed to us.

We also regularly make a shorter retreat at Mirfield.

Our churches spend time away together on pilgrimage.  This year we have been to St David's, Launde and the WW1 Battlefields.

We also make shorter, day pilgrimages together.  This year we have been to Leicester Cathedral, our own Cathedral here in Bury St Edmunds, and Kings Lynn Minster.
